1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the StatusVault Android application ("App") and related services, operated by the independent developer Binan ("Developer", "we", "us", "I"). By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
2. Description of Service
StatusVault is an Android utility application that allows users to view and save WhatsApp and WhatsApp Business status media (images and videos) that are already present on the user's own device. The App operates entirely offline — all media processing occurs locally on your device.
StatusVault is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to WhatsApp LLC or Meta Platforms Inc. "WhatsApp" is a registered trademark of WhatsApp LLC.
3. License and Permitted Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the App on your Android device for personal, non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms.
You agree NOT to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the App
- Use the App to infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to access or modify the server-side systems of the App
- Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App or its features
- Save or share content belonging to others without their permission
4. User Responsibilities
You are solely responsible for:
- Ensuring you have permission to save and share any status you download via this App
- Complying with WhatsApp's Terms of Service and applicable copyright laws
- Respecting the privacy and intellectual property rights of status creators
- Keeping your Google account credentials secure
5. Subscription Plans and Pricing
StatusVault offers optional Pro subscriptions to remove ads. Current pricing (in Indian Rupees, inclusive of all taxes):

- All subscriptions are one-time payments (not recurring/auto-renewing).
- Access is granted for the purchased duration from the date of payment confirmation.
- If you purchase while an existing subscription is still active, the new duration is stacked on top — you never lose a day you already paid for.
- Prices are displayed in INR and are inclusive of applicable taxes.
- We reserve the right to change prices at any time. Changes do not affect existing subscriptions.
6. Payment Processing
All payments are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, a licensed payment aggregator regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). By making a payment, you also agree to Razorpay's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
We accept payments via UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and other methods supported by Razorpay. Payment verification is performed server-side using cryptographic signature verification.
7. Refund and Cancellation Policy
Exceptions — we will issue a refund if:
- You were charged but your subscription was not activated (technical failure on our end). Contact us within 7 days with your payment ID.
- You were charged twice for the same subscription period.
- The App is found to be fundamentally non-functional on your device and we are unable to resolve the issue within 14 days of your report.
How to request a refund: Email ahmedsameerbinan2@gmail.com with your order ID, payment ID, and the reason for your request. Refund requests are reviewed within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
Refund disputes can also be raised with Razorpay directly through the Razorpay customer portal.
8. Free Tier and Advertisements
The free tier of StatusVault displays advertisements served by Google AdMob. By using the free tier, you acknowledge and consent to the display of ads as described in our Privacy Policy. Ads are removed for the duration of an active Pro subscription.
9. Intellectual Property
All content within the App (excluding WhatsApp statuses which belong to their respective creators) including but not limited to the UI design, source code, icons, logos, and text is the intellectual property of the Developer. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without express written permission.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Compatibility with all Android devices or future Android versions
- Access to WhatsApp status files (which depends on WhatsApp's own storage behaviour)
StatusVault's ability to access WhatsApp statuses depends on WhatsApp's current storage implementation. Future updates to WhatsApp may affect functionality. This is outside our control.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or any other commercial damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of India. Before initiating legal proceedings, you agree to attempt to resolve the dispute informally by contacting us at ahmedsameerbinan2@gmail.com.
Consumer disputes may also be addressed through the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or the Online Dispute Resolution (ODR) portal of the Government of India.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without notice, if you violate these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the App immediately ceases. Subscription fees are non-refundable upon termination for Terms violations.
14. Changes to Terms
We may revise these Terms at any time. The updated Terms will be posted at this URL with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
